The mouth consists of lips, tongue, cheek, gingival and palate. Cancers of the mouth may be seen as persistent lesions or aphts or ulcers. Taking alcohol, smoking, non fitted palate prosthesis, sunlight may increase the risk of cancer of the mouth.

Symptoms are bad breath, earache, voice changes, difficulty in swallowing and neck messes. It is diagnosed by biopsy. Imaging techniques will be obtained to see extension of the tumor and other systems. Early diagnose disease can be treated with surgery successfully. Radiation and chemotherapy may be needed in some cases.
